Diving in Lembeh: Welcome to Lembeh, Indonesia — the “Mecca of Muck Diving.” Discover incredible biodiversity on black sand slopes, home to rare critters like frogfish, mimic octopuses, flamboyant cuttlefish, pygmy seahorses, and vibrant nudibranchs. Warm water (80+ degrees) and calm conditions make it ideal for all divers and a paradise for macro photographers.

The Lembeh Strait — a narrow, 10-mile channel with 70+ dive sites between Lembeh Island and North Sulawesi — isn’t about coral reefs or white-sand scenery. With A-list subjects seen daily, Lembeh is one of the most productive underwater photography destinations on the planet.
